
General Registration
If you hold one of the following Australian or New Zealand occupational therapy qualifications you are eligible to apply for General Registration:
- Master of Clinical Occupational Therapy - University of Queensland;
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy - University of Queensland;
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy - James Cook University;
- Master of Occupational Therapy - University of Sydney;
- Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) - University of Newcastle;
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) - University of Western Sydney;
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy - La Trobe University;
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) - University of South Australia;
- Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) - Charles Sturt University;
- Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) - Curtin University of Technology;
- Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy) - Auckland University of Technology;
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy - Otago Polytechnic.
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy - Deakin University
If your Australian or New Zealand degree is not mentioned above, please contact the Office for information.
You will need to provide the Board with the following to be considered for registration:
- the Application for General Registration form ; and
- the necessary supporting documentation (as described in the application form); and
- the required fee (as stated in the application form).

Once all of the above documentation has been received in the Office, your application will be considered by the Board at its next scheduled meeting. You should not contact the Office prior to this date.
Please note: Incomplete applications will be returned for completion without registration being granted.
