Overseas Qualifications

If you obtained your occupational therapy qualifications outside of Australia or New Zealand you will need to contact the Council of Occupational Therapists Registration Boards. Contact details are as follows:

Once your qualifications have been assessed by COTRB and you have received official notification of your eligibility to apply for registration, you can then apply to the Board for General Registration. Once registration is granted, your registration will have supervisory conditions placed on it while you complete the second stage of the COTRB process, which is supervised practice.

Upon your successful completion of the supervised practice period, you will receive your Certificate of Completion from COTRB. Once you provide a certified copy of this document to the Board your supervisory conditions will be removed.
